Hearing Sense - Edition 1, 2010

Peter Carstensen
Hi! I am the Managing Director of AudioClinic. In the past few years I've seen some exciting developments in hearing health, but our design team in Denmark continues to look at ways of improving both the comfort and performance of our hearing aids.

New technology, new opportunities
There's no doubt that the advent of digital technology has made a massive difference to hearing aids. Apart from reducing their size, the main benefit has been that it is easier for wearers to distinguish various noises and engage in conversations. Our goal is to match natural hearing as closely as possible and, while I can't say too much yet, I think we will definitely be a step or two closer to that over the next couple of years.

The AudioClinic promise
Our whole focus at AudioClinic is to do everything we can to improve the quality of life of people with hearing loss.
Obviously a big part of that is being able to offer highly sophisticated hearing aids, but there's more - that's why we promise to:

  • Provide a comprehensive and totally professional service throughout the lifetime of your hearing solution
  • Understand your individual needs
  • Invest in professional training and advanced technology
  • Give you the choice of the world's finest hearing aids

In addition, our 30-day satisfaction guarantee means that our clinicians will ensure you're happy with the hearing solution they recommend. And our free on-going service means that you can call your local AudioClinic clinician for advice, rehabilitation and service on your hearing devices.

I'm very happy to be able to share with you some of the other things we're doing to help people with hearing loss get the most out of life in this edition of AudioNews.

Enjoy!

Regards,

Peter Carstensen
